Last month, our newest project for the 2026 SUAS competition, LAG-X — an autonomous quadcopter delivery drone — completed its first test flight, marking a major milestone for the project.
The test flight consisted of both manual and autonomous phases. The manual flight involved a 1,000-foot out-and-back route with successful landings, while the autonomous phase included fully autonomous waypoint navigation, landing, and takeoff.
Though this was only the first of many flights to come, it stands as a testament to what our team can achieve through collaboration and perseverance. As we continue advancing this and other projects, we remain committed to the same standard: nothing less, nothing more.
